This is the first page of a very exciting adventure at our European fashion boutique. My name is Sigrun and I'll be your travel agent as we travel through one fashion after the other. I will be introducing you to fashion from around the world. Every year I'll travel and find new things and I might add new items from wherever I am at the time in order to get new, elegant clothing to you as soon as possible. I was born in Iceland. My mother wanted to be a clothes designer, but instead she found herself with 7 children, so she designed patterns for us kids and then she would make them into beautiful clothes. (Later I'll look up pictures to show you some of her inventions-I can't wait to find some of the best.) And let's have some fun along the way. It's time to start dressing up!
Don't tell yourself that you never have a reason to get dressed up, oh you do! Just ask my niece, who just finished traveling across the United States. On her move from the west coast to the east coast, no matter how small of a town they stayed in each night, she would get up the next morning and get dressed to the T for breakfast. (You can follow her travels on www.fabwick.com. It's a magazine of fashion and life-you can always find something in there to make your day.)
Are you tired of the same thing over and over? Do feel like you are living the movie Groundhog Day? Well, if so, we are going to change that at our online fashion boutique! Even if it's some small change in how you do your hair that day, or you're wearing that fancy bra you bought and nobody knows about it but you. You should enjoy that the whole day, and before you know it, you are looking like the mystery woman you knew was in there all along!
I look forward to hearing from you all. Write me about what fashion you like to see, or if you found a vintage gown that was so cool you had to tell me about it, how your haircut went, or if you gave birth recently and now you need to do something for you. Let's work at getting something for all ages. We will also be on the lookout for something hard to find; candles or candle holders; or bowls that nobody else has; or a hat, the one nobody wants to wear but you really, really want to; or how about gloves- I love gloves, any color; yellow and red are my favorite!
